Artsy Fartsy Arts & Crafts Workshops is a small, veteran-owned business dedicated to bringing people together to learn something new, get creative, and, most importantly, have fun! We offer hands-on workshops at local venues, introducing adults to unique and unusual crafts. We also offer private parties & events, bringing all the tools, materials, and instruction right to you.
The idea grew out of our love for creativity and our ongoing exploration of unusual arts and crafts from around the world. While we're frequent flyers at traditional sip-and-paint events (and ran out of wall space long ago), we couldn't help feeling there was so much more to explore during craft nights.
We also believe there's more to a craft than just making something beautiful. By sharing the stories, origins, and cultural significance behind the crafts we teach, we hope to add a little depth to the experience while honoring the traditions that inspired them.

Our hope is that you'll enjoy your time at our workshops and go home with not just a unique little creation, but also a spark of inspiration. We want to light a little fire in you that makes you look back on your experience and want to explore more. Maybe not the next day, but one day. We're here to encourage you to continue exploring and practicing what you've learned, whether it's with us, at another workshop, or at home with friends and family.
Elaborately decorated eggs made with beeswax, dyes, and a candle following a centuries-old wax-resist method developed in eastern Europe. Arguably, the most well known and oldest are from Ukraine, called pysanky.

A practice that originated in Japan as a children’s pastime and evolved into a meditative art form for adults, emphasizing stillness, patience, and a connection to the earth. You’ll transform ordinary mud and water into a beautiful, shiny sphere using a simple glass cup.
